Dude if your gonna start trouble don't even post. Who cares if he does or does not use everything at his disposal. Most of the reposonse here I've seen when someone needs help have always been postive ones. Even though I don't post here very often I check out the boards a lot and get great insight on different styles of beatmaking, and different approaches that I can take to make my music better. I don't care what reason you have for hating on this forum, your shit-talking is inexcusable. PLenty of people here like Change, Red Cross, B-Knot and Peritus(where is he anyways?) have been giving everyone a great resource. You can take their criticism with a grain of salt or you can put it to good use and learn something man. Cuz thats what most of us are here to learn. This group is like a family, and its great that its like that cuz the music business is a tough game. We all wanna make it, and this is one of the only places where you see the commrodarie(sp?) of people with a common goal. Do us a favor and if you wanna hate just don't say anything. We don't need your negativity here.

P.S. Before you reply back with a whole string of Fucks and shits at my post remember that you are only making yourself look worse and making people wanna help you less.
 
I have to agree there. No reason to hate on anybody really. If I see where something someone did could use a little (or a lot) of suggestion, that's what I do....even with those I've become friends with. Hell, I think I'm harder on my homies than I am on people I'm not as close with. Why? Because they know where I'm coming from and they know I'll give them honesty whether I like what they do or not.

Balki, I'm not even gonna hate on you, it's really not worth it , got better stuff to do, it's really not my style and also doesn't help me or you. But I do disagree with your opinions on things. It might be a totally different visual from where you sit, but with me, I see it as we all have strengths and weaknesses here and we're all doing our own thing so it doesn't hurt us to help other folks out. You never know when it just might pay off or something.

As far as using everything at your disposal goes, I know I don't, but just having the options there for me to use (even if it's just using those rare options to make a beat to throw you off) is worth it to me to have.

Just my $0.05 cause I'm charging tax on the $0.02

You really know how to get someone mad!! I started playing PIANO at age three. I basically listened to alot of songs and picked them up by ear. I didn't start making what you call "beats" until i was like 10. I didn't buy the triton, my church did and they let me use it as i please. I use fruity loops because i like it's sequencing capabillites. I do use the Triton's sequencing but i don't like being responsible for a $1200 piece of equipment all the time so i don't take it home alot. As for you, you are an ignorant piece of trash who doesn't deserve to be a member of this site. I'm one of the coolest tempered guys around but you really ticked me off with that dumn statement. You don't know a darn thing about me and you need to use your stagnant brain before you think about saying anything else to me. You are on ignore ignoramous! Now, back to the beats! :D

Im not goin to let you discourage others into thinkin we dont help people out..over some bullshit you post and complain when someone tell you the truth about your music..and they are tryin to help your aZZ..but you take it as an insult and want to get defensive..

some people buy the keyboard for the sounds not the sequencer or sampler..and not everyone in the world samples..this is why alot of they choose not to use it..cause there are better ones out there..

I have to somewhat agree with BALKI where he said that people don't help. Yes, there's are alot of kind and helpful people in these forums willing to give great advice. I like to think of myself to be like that when I can give advice. But on the other hand, there are people who wanna respond with dumb and overly critical shit that sometimes has nothing to do with the subject, so that part I can see what he means, if that's what he was trying to say. My 2 pesos.

You obviously have no clue and don't know what a hardware sequencer is. That's basically what i meant when i said i work inside the keyboard. Theres alot more to do with a workstation than just a standard midi keyboard you use to trigger sounds inside fruity loops or whatever pc daw you may use. You're dealing with a built in sequencer and a built in sampler to go along with it. Theres actually people out there who pay for a workstation keyboard and use all it's essentials thats equipped inside of it. Oh yeah by. the way the motif sequencer isn't to bad once you get the hang of it. Alot of people seem to think it's hard to use but after alot of reading and studying it's actually a breeze and fun to work with.

Thats exactly what i was trying to say jigsaw. I guess certain pple took it out of context and started retaliating with insults and vulgar threats instead of actually taking it for what it's worth. It's all good i can see through alot of pple who post on here. I've already been boycotted against by. a number of users on here. That should tell you something about this forum. Theres only a few pple i come on here to get advice from and read their posts. I guess it's the same for you.
 
Yeah, that's what I figured. Much respect to all the talented musicians that come here, but sometimes their skill can get to their heads. That's why I guess people have to be careful what they say and how they say it. I'm outty.

I will refrain from sharing with you all the identity of the sender of the complaint.

I would like to proffer the idea of us ALL being as helpful as we can with members that are seeking knowledge in the form of help.

I would also like to propose that we ALL refrain from using caustic and abrasive intent (words and actions) towards each other (in proactive and reactive situations).

I commend the members of this site and forum that openly and wholeheartedly help our newer associates.

I also applaud our members that keep an "OPEN MIND", when it comes to attacking situations in difffrent manners, angles, and ways; ie (as a very small example ...music production tools).

dude, i was not trying to kick you when you are down or anything like that. i was not tryiny to jump on your shit like the others did over a year ago in this thread. i know what a fucking sequencer is, and i know that it is hardware. i was just saying that there IS software running it. I was not trying to insult you in any way what so ever. i know that a lot of people use only nice keyboards or mpc's for production and that is fine, i have no reservations with what people us...do what works best for you.

just know that i was not trying to talk shit, i think all the shit talking that went down in this thread was rediculous.

damn i remember writing this thread a long time ago, I deff. got better equipment now and know how to use it but it brings back memories of wut i used to own and do lol
