Is it possible to compress 2 inputs simultaneously using the PRO VLA?

( ie- compress the direct bass and miced bass cab before going into soundcard? )

Or should I just compress the direct bass and leave the miced bass line uncompressed?

You can do this, just push the mode button so the two sides are not linked.
It is up to you to decide about compressing the cabinet. I normally don't.

Yup.
As Farview said ..... dual mono or linked stereo but also ditto on not compressing the cab mic (for me).

I find that the speaker compression (pushing the speaker a bit) really is a preferable sound than compressing the mic on the cab.

My 2 cents.
