Most diggable dude! Great groove, mix, vox and playing. I think I've liked about everything I've heard from you. Nice.
I like it. Ya gets the thumbs up from me. ;)

Cool song.

I like the drum machine, guitar tone, and synth loops. As dogbreath said, you get a good groove going on though it does take a while for it to get going.

I'm not so enthusiastic about the vocal tone. I'm just not sure your vocalist has the right voice for this kind of music.

Dig it! Big, clean sound; in yer face vox and guit-screetch; unique; irreverent; inventive.

I immediately thought of the end of the first Matrix movie....the theme "All that glitters..."

I liked that tune, and I like this one. Kinda 'cousins', like.

liked it...like the accent and not enough songs have yutes in the lyrics ;)

liked the different tempos...and the guitars...and everything

great stuff all round

This is great man.

Don't know how you get that drum sound (I think you explained it once but I can't remember), but however you do that, it sounds kick ass. This reminds me of some of your tunes from a few years ago. Very much your own sound.

Cool

The bass synth arp in the intro reminds me of the Art of Noise.
Beaut ute reference too!
The accent is getting more Blighty & less LWCloud.
The tempo change seemed to stagger at 1st.
This is cool - art gallery, cemetery & ute is one narrative - has to be a winner.

Guys, many thanks for taking the time to comment. Guess I wasn't quite as done with this as I thought. All suggestions have been taken on board and I think the updated version is better..

Dogbreath - Thanks a lot Dog. If you ever get a hankering for sharing your vocal skilz on someone else's tune, just name your price! :D

VomitHatSteve - Good comments Steve, right on the money. You're right about the intro, it was too long. I've gone back and snicked 4 bars out of there. Likewise with the vox, they are ordinary. Sometimes I get lucky but these piss me off. I've redone most of them, maybe they don't suck so bad now. Cheers man

jeffmaher - Had a quick flick through my copy of the Matrix CD, but couldn't find the one you're talking about. I never saw the movie, but the CD is brilliant. Thanks for the listen Jeff

FoulPhil - Thank you Phil most Foul :D

Greg_L - Cheers Greg

kcearl - Heh yeah pickup truck didn't fit quite so well. Thanks for the listen kc

heatmiser - Glad you liked it hm Appreciate the kind words. :)

rayc - bloody blighty, don't know why that happens. Yeah I messed around with the tempo transitions quite a bit, this was about as good as I could get them together. Next tune I'm gonna keep it simple. Thanks for checking it out ray

No problems with the mix IMHO. Very industrial (I hope I have that right). Gritty and bold. You always come up with unique, innovative and cool tunes and this one is no exception. Inspiring!

Great to have your ears around this one ido. Thanks man

Fantastic, BH!
So original and so dirty sounding, it takes multiple listens to discover all there is in it. Superb, that's all I can say!

Joey :):):):)

Thanks joey. If you listened to it more than once, then my job is done :D

On the road so it's just headphones (nice ones though). Sounds great, love the electronic elements. Guitars sound great, love the change at 1:34. Wish i could think of something critical to say. On my headphones the vocals are a bit low but when doing songs in a somewhat similar style I always have them about the same level so even that points moot but I gave critical a shot. Wonderful man, glad I caught this. Hope I don't miss out on your next one.

Take care
Gary

I listened to Art Prize 2. That is some good stuff! Not trying to put you in some "mainstream box", but it sounds like you've taken some of the great elements of bands like NIN and Rob Zombie and made them into something original with your other elements and style.

I'd be interested in how you do your drums and synth parts/effects.

gbav - Good to hear from you Gary. You know I think I agree, the vocal might be a touch quiet. It's OK on the wav file, but seems to sort of fade a bit on soundclick. I appreciate your critical thoughts man, thanks a lot.

Sound & Vision - Yeah I like NIN & RZ, although I haven't heard a whole lot of their stuff. I did go through a Manson phase a few years ago though... :D The drums are an old Pearl kit, six mics into a Profire 2626. The synths are all soft on this one, Cakewalk Dimension mainly. The effects are a mixture of pedals and the UAD Moog filter, which I'm currently in love with and have to consciously stop myself from using on Everything. Thanks for the listen man
