Around The Crib

At home, when I record, I use everyday household materials to better my sound (a pillow, a blanket....). Is there anything around the house that you guys know about that will give me good acoustics?

There's a studio building and display forum here where all the acoustic experts hang out. You'll more likely get better responses there.

I will say that there are certain benefits to hanging up the old duvets etc. but that only really deals with certain problems. Controlling low frequencies is probably the biggest challenge when treating your studio and you'll need some proper bass traps to deal with that. You can build your own for not too much money. Check out the studio building forum like I said.
