Are you ever afraid of your house being burgled? (Don't know where to post this)

Sometimes I worry about it, but I have 2 dogs and 2 roomies with random schedules, so worried then not
 
Nah. People around here are nice. We lock our doors most of the time though anyway.
 
When I'm not home I have State Farm. When I am home I have Smith & Wesson ; )
 
The cleverness of burglers amazes me sometimes.

I had a neighbor broken into next door while I was home. I heard a loud glass breaking sound. I looked out and saw the recycling truck picking up the bins. I figured it was all my empty beer bottles going into the truck. Nope. I felt terrible knowing I heard them break a window, and I got up to check it out. I was fooled by the truck.
 
I'm borderline OCD about fire myself. It seems like I go through phases with it though. I used to unplug like everything.
