anybody ever tried em?The spec out very flat 1-8 & a tweet
90 Watts (r.m.s
8 ohms.
Frequency Response: 50~20KHz.
SPL: 90 +/-2 dB.

I'm still debating over which entry level card to get as well.
E-mu 0404, + a preamp maybe a joemeek 3q???because it includes software,
or any Delta from audiophile 2496 to omni studio w/ built in pres .Prices on M-Audio have dropped a ton.
I will be tracking myself, a 1 man band deal for a while till I learn a little.

As you can tell I am still looking for equipment on the cheap. If these monitors really suck I think I can get some used yorkville's for about $180.00
Any input is greatly appreciated Thanks Scott

Don't know about those monitors sorry, but you're right about the M Audio prices.
If I was buying now, I'd get an audiophile or a delta 66 or 1010lt (depending on how may concurrent tracks you're recording). Their current prices will beat anything else comparable out there, but who knows how long that will last, now that they've been bought by....cant' remember - who was that again?

They're not studio nearfields -AVOID!

Strange how many speakers have flat frequency response these days. I don't believe it. The physics involved make it almost impossible to do.

That figures

Thanks for the info,I figured it was way too cheap to actually work,So I continue to seek the ultimate deal!!!
