I beg to differ, but at least on my super pro computer cheap ass speakers (30 buck altec lansin) they sound 1-2 tads too high. shed some light soundchaser on why you say neither? they get pretty distorded (<~~spelling please lol) in my speakers at a volume i ussually listen to reggae, hip hop and bassy music without distortion...and the distortion is caused by the vox...im no pro... but i thought it was the vox!

I dont know.......I listened to the whole thing, 3 tunes, and I hear a ton of some vocoder type effect that might seem kinda annoying after a while, but I didn't hear any distortion. It's a pretty hot mix, but it didn't distort for me. I thought the vox were mixed appropriately compared to the rest of the tracks. Many DIY recorders have a tendency to undermix the vox, make them too soft, but this sounded balanced to me. I like the vox to be slightly above the rest of the music, and that's what I hear in this......

i agree with bigj... just a TAD too loud... but hell, im no expert, so take what i say with a grain of salt.

Ok ...if you are comparing them to the other songs...mastering for a CD so it can be a level plain..then yeah ...they are on par...but still i think they are on par...they actually don't distort on me either, but they have this effect that makes them go really hard on the mid's i think and sound kinda awfull...maybe you are going for this sound and its alright...it's just my preference i guess!

If you are going to play this in a club I would think the vocals are overpowering the beat. If you intend on releasing this on a cd for people to hear updated versions of old singing performances I like it.
