Great replies guys, thanks a lot!
I really liked those recordings done with the Q10, i like the sound of it.
Had you full mixed those songs? Or were they raw?
Either way its nice!
Anyone bought one in Canada?

I bought my q10 here in winnipeg, manitoba from long and mcquade about amonth ago, I paid $1399 canadian.

I see, thats good to hear. i have a long and mcquade near by. Also a Tom Lee music just a ferry ride away. Plus other smaller stores i could look into.

just found this string as I am trying to fix my Q10 problems. Just a word to the wise, everything is not peaches and cream since 7.04 drivers.

Aardvark ~seems~ willing to help, but I am still crashing about every 25 minutes of tracking.

I think it says alont when the unit goes UP $100 in price after it's release too.
The $100 increase was for the later version box that supports 96 kHz operation.

Older machines can be upgraded for $39.95. Contact Aardvark tech support for details.

aardvark rules

i would have to say the direct pro q10 sounds quite nice, i just got mine a week ago, but it is great, i have been using it a lot since i got it. of course i also did buy a new motherboard with the latest intel chipset(very nics motherboard) for it, but still. the direct pro q10 is working great. and i would also say the support from aardvark is great. i have emailed them asking questions like 12 times. and everytime i get a respond that day, or at latest the next day.

I dropped the $701 (shipped) last night, so it should be arriving here from Seattle early next week. I've been following the pricing at the major mail order places, and it was $140 less from the eBay seller. He said it is the latest gear, direct from the factory, and has the 96 kHz support, full warranty, etc.

Aardvark tech support has been VERY responsive to my emails. I'm very pleased, so far.

Note on an earlier posting.... The new drivers from Aardvark have virtually eliminated my crashes. I worked hard for three days with only one hang up, and I kinda think it was sonar related, not aardvark!
