Apply Effects

I've been trying to apply effects to tracks in SONAR 2 in order to give my CPU a break, I've got loads of tracks with lots of plugins and I'm hovering on the brink of the dreaded dropouts. So, I wanted to use fewer effects in realtime, but applying effects doesn't seem to work. As far as I can tell I'm doing it right, but who knows, still learning SONAR. Anyway here's my method. 1st I select the track I want, then I click on apply effects, then it starts. I get the blue progress bar at the bottom. When it gets to 100%, It just starts over again. And again. It will continue to do this as long as I let it. It never seems to work. What am I missing fellers?
 
That's normal if you have many clips on that track. It will apply the effect to each clip.
 
Ahhhhh. Once again my impatience bites me in the ass. Thanks, that was quick. BTW, do you LIVE here?

Yes. :D

No, it's just that I'm always surfing while working. Around here there's actually not much to do, and as long as I get paid. I'm paid for the time I'm at the office, not the actuall time I'm working. They really don't need me much, but the company can afford to have me around... that's cool by me. :)

Besides, this place is a habbit! :eek: :D
 
Word up. "Work" is the only place I get any free time. I'm "working" right now.
