anything similar to recycle?

Hi I am looking for a free program that might work like recycle. I am trying to create my own soundfonts and so I am recording myself playing various instruments. I am looking for software to slice up the samples quickly. Is there something free that does this? it seems like a simple enough algorithm. thanks.

good luck trying to find something free...Kontakt should do this and I believe there have been programs made for Reaktor that do this...

Audacity for mac is kinda cool. Free also.

Again, not free but Phatmatik pro does the same thing as recycle but as a VST plugin..
