Hey gang!
Last summer at Swannanoa, I took a Swing rhythm guitar class from Mike Dowling, and when I got home I did this little exercise to work out my 10th chords... It's just a happy little 12-bar blues in G; with the changes goosed a little to appeal to my jazzier side. The drums are a loop, and I did the 2 rhythm parts and bass part. There's no melody or solos at all; it's a blank canvas for you jammers and scatters....
BASIC CHANGES (I have a few tritone substitutions and planing, but it does not disrupt the below):
||: G9 | C9 | G9 | G9 | C9 | C9 | G9 F9 | E9 | Am7 | D7 D7/C | Bm7 E9 | Am7 D9 Ab7 :||
Fade vamp:
||: Bm7 E9 | Am7 D9 :||
Have at it, and have fun! Can't wait to hear what you do!
