Thanks
Thanks for your help, when I said that it's not really what I meant, well sort of, it sounded a bit rude, or blunt or whatever. What I meant really was that I don't really want to spend hours apon hours learning how to actually do it all myself, unless I can't help it! I would prefer to know a bit about it and just speak to someone who knows a bit more about it, I realise that that would be too much to ask for someone in my money situation.
Thanks for your help, The guitar sounded a lot better on the original recording before I touched it! I think I mucked up the drums too, the whole thing was a LOT quieter before I got my hands on it!!
and for the website:
Right the website, I can't think of any other way of presenting the site, it is in 5 frames which have to be aligned properly. I could use tables for the background and menu etc, but I would still need a frame in the middle, and I hate IFrames, or floating frames. As for the sound! Thats my mistake, do you think I should completely get rid of it? That would be easiest! or add a control? I think the first is the best bet. I was in a hurry to get the site up, being pressured from everyone! If you can think of a way of setting it up so the resolution can't be change I would be more than happy to implement it, I was looking for a solution for ages and that was my best idea, I kinda like the way it just sits there in the middle of the screen, and it's not like I have included a javascipt to close the window or anything like annoying adverts etc. Also the sound I am in the process of sorting out, which is the main problem I think the site has! I am also still waiting on someone to give me some proper SRL pictures of us he took, all the pics are over a year old (nearly 2!).
I got the idea about a pop up window from a lot of other bands I have seen, and well I sort of used it as a last resort because there was no way I could keep all the bars aligned!
Oh well, I can at least say more about my webdesigning skills, I have a bit of qualification in that! Did you see the ASP members section? Although I did not completely program that part I did make a lot of modifications, i.e userlist and messaging system!
Thanks again
Simon
