I have used the NT5s for live shows only so far (I only bought them 2 weeks ago), but I love them!
The problem for me is that so far I only have 2 good mics for the kit - the NT5s. so I thought I'd use a crap mic on the kick....bad mistake!
A guy I knew suggested that I swing one of the NT5s onto the kick, ond use a sole NT% as an overhead. Worked wonders. They are a fantastically versatile little mic.
I can't wait to use them as a stereo pair on an accoustic guitar
