Anyone using a Digi 001 & PTLE?

Got mine last week. Computer is a PIII 933mHz w 815 Intel
chipset, 512mb of RAM. Win98 2nd edition OS. So far no burps
or farts- anyone else using one? Would welcome some ideas
or experiences and what works good for...?

i got a 001 and i tell ya i kinda dig it.
if you need a mic check out the rode nt-1
also, i highly reccomend you check out the waves native gold bundle or at least the power pack.
you may want to invest in an outboard reverb/efx proceser to rleive your cpu of plug in strain(reverbs eat up cpu)- check out the lexicon mxp-500
if you want more inputs youll need pre amps, or a mixer.pre sonus pre amps are woth the little more money than youd pay for an art pre.

as for mixers mackie makes a lot of cheap ones, it seems the coolest one around is the yamaha 01v for the price.
on the cheap tip for mixers the tascam mp-1000 is a good deal.

if in the future you crave more midi options check out logic audio platinum, its the only other sequencer thatll run good on the 001, and its the best one out.

the offer a competitive upgrade wich makes it a lot cheaper btw.
