I got this SM85 condenser stage mic a few years ago for abt $30 at a swap meet. It works, it's nice, and for guitar it's a little better than the dynamic mics I have (SM57, MD421). But it's the only condenser mic I have any experience with. Shure stopped making them so that should tell me something. On the off chance that someone else may have tried one, how does it compare to other condenser mics?
