i have fruity loops 5 producer edition, but i dont think its possible to get it to actually show up in a track in audition 2.0 and be editible from the multi-track view. for now, i have to make my sequence tracks in fl5 and then export to desktop and import to audition, and then if i ever need to change anything i have to delete and go back into fl and change what i need to change and do the process all over again. a few years ago when i first got into digital recording i had a cheap program called magix music maker that had all of these drum machines and other sequencers with it that would be put into a track and then edited by clicking on the track. anything like that for audition?

I've used Adobe Audition 1.5 for years until I switched to Reaper.

But 1.5 supports ReWire, and I'm pretty sure FL Studio does too, so you can use FL as a rewire device similar to how you can use Reason.

I don't think 2.0 has good support for MIDI or VSTi plug-ins, so you can try looking for a VST wrapper that can let you use VSTi plug-ins.

But I would try using FL as a ReWire device first if it supports it.

In 1.5 (multi track view), you would go to:

Options menu -> Device properties...
Rewire Tab
Click the "enable" button.
And select FL Studio if it is available.

no VSTi support in any version of CEP/AA me thinks.
I use a horrible primitive drum program called HammerHead

Hello Danny,
Have you ever try your EMU card with AA 2,0?
I know you didn't use AA 2,0 but I was wondering if you had the trial version.
How did recording go? Any latency?
I think about EMU1212M's ASIO drivers and AA2,0.
Is there the place I could look up? I would like to find out more about this particular combination.

Back to the topic:
Audition doesn't support MIDIS. It is possible to play MIDI in Audition but I think that's all you can do so far.
You can always use drum loops in Audition which are very easy to use.
