i have a rogue and i am trying to figure out how to control the keyboard input. i can get it to make a ring modulator type noise, but that is all. I hope that is not all you can do. Anyone out there with an instruction booklet or masses of know how, can you help me?

I don't really know, but it's common for the keybord ins to be 1V/octave inputs. If you get ringmodulator type noises it could mean that you are inputting some kind of sound, is that correct?

Regebro is right. The keyboard input controls the pitch of your oscilators. And normally moog uses the 1V/oct standard. This input can be used to play the synth from another analog keyboard (with CV output, CV=control voltage), with a midi keyboard and a MIDI->CV convertor, or an analog sequencer.

If you connect an audio output to this input, you will get some kind of frequency modulation of your oscilator output with the incoming signal. This is on of the tricks that modular synth-owners fill their days with.

There is a huge amount of info on analog synths on the net. I know alot without ever even owning one. (I do occasionaly play a nice vintage however. Yesterday I played a 1973 Arp pro-solo through a behringer vocoder patch on a concert. Lovely.)

Offcourse, with a midi cv convertor, you can fully merge it in your midi setup. Have your sequencer play it, whatever...
