Yeah that one's awesome! It doesn't take up any space and it is extremely cheap.

I think it's a Claytons one........................you know, the one you're having when you're not having one at all.

Sorry if that means nothing to anyone outside Aust.

On the other hand, it could be a virtual one.

:D :D :D

I've got one for sale.... or I'll swap it for a collection of microphones.

you guys...

you guys kill me...
of course now i need one too ;-)

Isn't that one of those Neumann's that Mercenary Audio is selling off for super cheap?

actually, dont given to this mega hype. Ive read several reviews on this seemingly fantastic microphone. the truth is this mic actually consists of cheap asian parts that shatter into oblivion within a couple of days of use. even though the components for these do compare to its german cousins they do not even compare with the sound.

i was very pleased with mine when i first got it in the mail. It had a very nice shean to it, almost like glass, and a perfect ergonomic design. Definately looked as though it had a place in any studio. Best of all i could put it anywhere! The best sound i got with it was when i actually put the mic down the singers throat capturing the pure tone of his vocal presense.

But this dream came to a stop when i actually touched the mic. It shattered into thousands of pieces.

However, if your really good at handling this type of element, you should have no problem. Just becareful because you are taking a huge risk.

thats just my 2 cents.

It's funny you mention that one . . .

It's the one I grab when absolutely nothing else works.

I think Behringer is coming out with a version that's supposed to be a lot cheaper.

Didn't Simon & Garfunkel use this to record 'Sounds of Silence'?

Is it the ultra low noise version? ;)

does it need phantom power?...i bet it would sound great with my tube mic stand.......
