I have looking at their stuff, and for all birch shells the price can't be touched by any of the Big names.

Anybody here ever played or owned the Predator series?

Some close up photos from that company would really help their cause.

Isn't that one of the brands domintant on Ebay for drums? I've heard HB shines up low-quality products to sell to cost-shocked buyers. They hold up for a month or so, then they start to fall apart. Of course, that's just what I've heard. I'd have to play on a set to really get a feel for their quailty. However, for those prices, I'd be very. very cautious. Maybe if you can get a warranty it wouldn't be so risky.

They use cheap hardware, and they don't have enough lugs per drum to acurately tune them.

Well their warranty is comparable to Tama's. And they have some good feedback from buyers/customers.

As far as number of lugs go, I don't buy into all the hype about more lugs being better. I have a set of tama's now that has 8 lugs on each side of the bass and I removed 4 on each side and did the same to my two floor toms and they tune nice and low and in fact sound a little better(to me atleast).

I already have lot's a good stands and stuff i was mainly just considering them for the drums themselves.

Any further input is helpful,thanks

If you're looking for positive reviews - I doubt you'll get any, HB was thrown on the "shit pile" along time ago around here. Those are the kind of drums parents buy 8 or 9 year olds to play when they don't want to invest any money in a real drumkit.

Why don't you just expand the Tama kit you have? At least it's a real drumkit, rather than thowing money away on an HB.

Yeah that is one option, It's just that my kit is old vintage from the early 80's and it's getting hard to find matching stuff. I really like the Zola coating look and sound.
