Hi everyone, this is my first post & I gotta say this a great place.
Moving on now to a few questions, first off I have a Peavey PV6 mixer ran through a desktop computer, I use Cakewalk, & a MXL V63M Studio Condenser Microphone. I mainly record using an acoustic guitar, with fake drums & then I add some lead electric guitar. Of course I usually have vocals going as well.
I am pleased with the sound I get, I just have some unwanted noise, I was just wondering if this could be my mic or what, basically anything to help me get rid of this.
I had used this same setup with a dynamic mic a couple years ago, & do not remember having this problem.
I had just recently found this condenser mic which came with a 16-track I`d ordered maybe 4 years ago. I love the way it picks up, I just wish I could get rid of the noise.
Anyway, I hope I was clear enough in that description. Also, if I posted this in the wrong section, please let me know where this should have went. Thanks for your time.
Peace
