Armistice

Son of Yoda
So I'm not a keyboard player really, I'm a guitarist, and all I wanted was to get a cheap synth that I can use to add texture to my guitar recordings.

Enter the Juno-D. It has patches, which I understand, and have now motored my way through them all and listened to all the funky sounds, but it also has a "Performance" mode, which supposedly is how you tag together multiple patches (I think) to play them at the same time and thus create your own wondrous soundscapes.....

Except how this is done isn't at all clear from the accursed Roland manual - this is no real surprise, of course.

Hoping someone out there has this board or something else that has these two modes who can tell me how to work the "Performance" mode, 'cause I sure can't get it to do anything but play single patches when I try...

Damn frustrating!

Thanks peoples..

There's a button on the top of the keyboard right next to the 'patch' button that says 'perform'. If you push this it will take you into performance mode and you will be able to layer patches to your hearts content.
