Anyone ever rubber suspend their bass traps?

Just found a dude who did floor to ceiling corner bass traps, but hung them with heavy rubber bungees to isolate them.

Very intriguing...

They will nothing to the effectiveness of the traps but will add to the time and cost of the project.

Very pointless gimmick but a good conversatipon piece.

I've tried that sort of thing, mostly when I lived in a house that was "bumpy," hung my turntable by bungies. Worked a little, but now worth the trouble. And it looked wierd.
