It was supposed to be overcast here - but at the moment we've got a clear view. Almost completely covered now.

Cool. 95% on this path in about an hour.

I sort of am, I'm in Central Maine. The moon has just started occluding the sun about 17 minutes ago.

We had a clear view of totality for about 1 minute. I must say.... that was extraordinary.

Just a weird overcast color in North Alabama...

That was kind of weird, wasn't it. It's a little overcast here in Virginia, I don't have sufficient shades, so I was able to glance a few times. Just a little sliver of sun. I think it's still going on, or it's going to rain. Damned if I know, I'm just trying to replace a fuel line and clean the carb in the tiller so I can grow some Oliver Wendell Douglas corn this summer.

I wasn't in the path, but was 99%. We had a few clouds drift by, but they cleared out as it peaked.
I snapped this while the clouds were drifting by. It blocked just enough light to get a shot, about 10 minutes from peak.
