Anyone else had problems with upgrades?

I upgraded Cubase tonight, aftera few trouble free years with the original 3.0 version that I bought. Well, now my metronome cuts in and out as well as any audio signals that are being played back or recorded... Anybody have any ideas?

I was trying to hold out for a while, but I got impatient and upgraded to Cubase 4 last week. BIG MISTAKE! It's full of bugs.

It appears we've spent $200 to be BETA testers.
