is it me or are those kits the coolest sounding things ever! im trying to fiddle with addictive drums to find a SJC-esque sound, failing miserably! while im on the point, any pointers?

My drummer has one of their custom kits and it just rocks the **** out of our sessions it sounds amazing specially the kick.
I dont have a bad word to say about their kits.

oh awesome, whats your band? i'll check you guys out! so many amazing drummers are endorsed by them too! when i have a spare 3000$ il sell my pearl masters and order my own custom kit!

Our bands called the sonic images but we dont really have any material down on the net we are just in the process of getting an album done.
And ya i also know a girl on youtube who sent them a demo video and they sponsered her so she has a custom kit but she still had to drop 2500 on the kit.

Good lord that was annoying!
SJC is using Keller shells. You kids are just paying for a name.
Same with OCDP.
If you think you can handle the real world of custom drums .... hang out at Ghostnote for a little while.
Truth. SJC is nothing special sound wise, just like every other keller custom builder. I will say though that I love most of SJC's finishes. Cool looking kits, aside from that one in the vid up there.

Regardless of the shell origination, I have heard a few nice sounding SJC kits. Sadly though, one of the worst sounding kits I have ever heard was also an SJC kit. The drummer in this instance had ordered some odd sizes, but still, it just sounded horrid. It wasn't the heads or the tuning either, just a really bad kit.

yeeeeeeah..... they use the same shells and hardware as just about every other custom builder out there. i will have to agree on their finishes being cool though.

That chick got sponspered based on that video???? Jesus Christ! I guess it's a blessing to be born with a pair of tits. Is anyone going to tell me, with a straight face, that if that was a guy playing anyone would give him a pair of drum sticks, let alone a kit???? I'm not saying she's bad, but seriously.

I've got less than that into my 7 pc. Including the finishing.
Granted, I painted and built them myself .... but still, that chick didn't get no deal.
To the OP .... I don't know addictive drums but, can it playback samples? I'm sure you could find all kinds of good samples. SJC notwithstanding.
