Anybody would like to sing a couple of tunes for me?

I'm making this demo-cd right now for promotion-stuff of my studio, with mostly covers, since people like to listen to that, and I won't have to use songs from other bands recorded here.

BUT the only problem is: I can more or less play all the necessary instruments (drums, bass, guits, keys) but I just CAN'T SING!

I know some singers around here, but they are the kind of types that instantly want to see money before singing a note.

So I thought maybe anyone of you would like to do the job.

The songs (almost) finished are now:

-Toto - Africa
-Rollings Stones - Sympathy for the Devil

Suggestions for other songs are highly appreciated.

Africa huh? I have to admit, that sounds fun. I'll have to check the range. I know there are some great harmonys in the song.

Africa sounds interesting and quite a challenge. I used to sing it in the car a lot . Sympathy for the Devil sounds interesting too. Not sure if I have that kind of R&R chops left anymore .

I may be interested in one or both. Let me spin them a few times to see. I could always take a crack and if they suck...they don't have to hear the light of day. My feelings wouldn't be hurt. .

Hell yeah. That's a really tough one to sing. Not many people can reach the high notes.

i'll check back with you. the singer from my (cover) band might be interested. she's excellent and could probably handle both tunes and i could probably handle backups. maybe not? lemme ask her and get back to ya.
