Always been interested in this piece, thinking about trying one out for a month or so. Any comments about this would be mad cool...

Thanks,

i wish i owned one, they kick the ass out of practically anything sound-wise... damn they sound great.. i'm drooling everytime i see one, kicking myself for clubbing so much i can't afford it...

I have a supernova and i often say i've never even thought of getting another synth... this is the exception...

Rubo4...

I bought my xbase about 3 1/2 - 4 years ago and loved it. I left it overseas when I returned to the states and missed it profusely - until I got my Machinedrum... It did sound fucking hot to death, tho'.

Chriss...

so I'm not crazy for hankering for this piece then, am I? I've wanted one since it was only a vicious rumor, and if I curb my appetite, I may be the proud owner of one. The Kyma is cool, but I think I can do a lot of the same stuff with the odds and ends I own or am planning to buy. If nothing else, I've gotta have a sunsyn just to have it (it sucks being a junkie).

Seriously though, I'm kind of streamlining my analog goodies, and it always seemed to be just the thing to keep me satiated. I'll fill you in once I get up the last few hundred to order (few weeks or so)...

I won't even begin to rattle off my wish list...

I always wanted to A/B Machinedrum and Xbase 09. How do you like it, coming from Jomox. I know you have the stereo output now, so that's a nice treat. But are the sounds fat or crystal digital? Also how is programming in Machinedrum, I love the Xbase programming features - very deep. For me it's now more of a sequencer then just drum muchine.

Cheers

P.S. I'm still saving for Kyma.

The sounds of the machinedrum can all too easily be too crystalline, xbase is a bit warmer, but the machinedrum can definately hold it's own in that respect. If you like the xbase programming/sequencing, the machinedrum will make your noodle limp if it ain't or hard if it is. Thumbs up in that department. I often toast my machinedrum sounds just a bit in the studio, but again, live it still sounds DOPE.

I would never get rid of it. I would never get rid of it. I would never get rid of it.

I use it for all types of shit, and the synthesis capabilities on it are to die for. If you could only have 1, this would be it.
