Anybody Doing ORTF or Blumlein With SP B3?

I'm curious if anybody has a (dot matched) pair of Studio Projects B3, and doing Blumlein Pair, M-S, ORTF, or other stereo-pair techniques.

Just curious... diddling around with the idea of picking up a pair of B3 for these purposes.

ORTF

I've had good results with percussion (including xylophone and marimba) with a pair of SP-B1 mics and ORTF. I'm ordering a B3, hopefully a nice complement to the B1 for M-S.

I used the B3 for M-S on a glockenspiel and acoustic, and it was great.

I found a real nice price, shipped, for a dot-matched pair of B3 with shock mounts, so I think I'm going to jump in.

BTW, neither of my b1 mics came with colored dots. I spent a little time and "calibrated" them myself with a synthesizer.
