How about some excellent OLD reverbs ?

I like used gear & would like to know about some classic GEAR.

No crap reverbs please.

not really old...but the Alesis Wedge, imo is a great reverb. $50 all the time on Ebay. Lots of adjustments, and I think it has some great sounds.

SPX90 for sure. Gotta have one of those. The LXP-15 was pretty cool in the day for a poor-mans lexicon, not that they were all that cheap when they came out. I bought mine new and seem to remember it being over the grand mark, but I may be thinking of something else. It's been sold ages ago anyway, with other things I regret selling.

Agreed, the SPX90 is still a great box.

..but for great reverbs, the Roland SRV-330 is excellent. The plate reverbs and the room reverbs especially. I've never tried the Roland SRV-3030 but they are still available new. It's user interface is confusing though.

An old spring reverb would be fun, but finding one that isn't too noisy is a problem.

Whatabout one of these old EMT Plate reverbs. That gotta fit into the "recommended old reverb" section? ;)

Get the EMT plate. They rock, big time. I used to use one all the time, and that was in a room with a Lexicon 480L. The plate sounded WAY better, to me.
