i'm looking for some good videos on mixing. i'm a homerecorder, so if there is any out there geared towards the homerecorder, that would be a plus. i'm interested in a tape that shows you how to mix digital instruments, if there is such a tape. i'm learning to mix from my computer so a tape with this type of technique would also be a plus.

You could check HERE to see if there's anything that fits the bill.......

There's a video series called The Basics of Home Recording. Volume IV is about mixing. I thought it was pretty good, but I don't know anything about mixing.

get the "recording with bruce swedien" he's awesome. I love his work. Super nice guy too, just like Thee Nubz.

super cool

i appreciate the help. i'll start researching the material that posted above to see wich one will fit the bill. which ever one is explained in the most simplist terms step by step for the beginner home/computer recordist is the one that is going to be my first pick.

I saw a VHS of "The Art of Mixing" by David Gibson at GC the other day. I have the book, and for us gaining experience it is an excellent resource.

This is the book/video set for $90. You can probable pick up either for about $40.
