I just finished mixing this song and I could use some suggestions. I don't have a lot of recording/mixing/mastering experience and I know a lot of people on this site do. So any comments will be appreciated.

Here's a link to the song:

Howling at the Moon

Thanks - Adam

Nice layback tune Adam, well done. The only thing that I'd do different is pan your guitars more left to even out the field. It seems a little lopsided to the right for me.

NYMorningstar had it in a few words - even out the panning.
Good song
Oh, the snare actually sounds like a type writer key hitting a page -
The whole sound reminds me of Lou Reed's Coney Island Baby LP - maybe even some Sally Can't Dance too...
That's a compliment.
Actually the ennui really does have a lot in common with uncle Lou - though he wouldn't have bothered with the slide licks - too much effort.
Nice work. Please repost after tweaking.

ya

Thanks, I'll redo the panning and repost it. I think you hit the nail on the head by comparing the snare drum to a typewriter key hitting a page. I want to improve my drum sounds but I'm a little overwhelmed at what software to get. I do take the Lou Reed comparison as a complement too .
