Levels seem really even...voice still has a great sound, and sits a bit better. I don't hear much to nit at...sounds pretty good man. There was a spot where the vocals gott real quiet..around 2 minutes. I think she pulled away from the mic a bit soon. Yeah, at 1:58 she pulls away, and it gets real quiet, then she comes back. You might look at that. Other than that, the mix is sounding real good.

I'm getting a better vibe from the vocals now in this latest version. They are closer to the rest of the mix now.

I'd still like to hear this with less reverb on the vocals. If you get the chance to retrack her singing on this please post it for us to enjoy. She truly does have a nice voice.

The overall mix is sitting well too. I really notice the separation between the instruments - good panning and eq. There's a nice reverb/effect level going on with the rest of the instruments - subtle but effective.

Cellos are real smooth - nice job there... And I really can't say enough about the guitar tones - the lead sounds just like Buffalo Springfield or CSNY - very cool....

Good One RayC

:D :) :D :) :D :)

From Wiktionary:
as dry as a dead dingo’s donger
(Australian, colloquial) Very dry, extremely dry.

;) :D  :) :D

I know the Dingo reference wasn't entirely accurate but it's a goodun eh?
Dogman, the pull back at 1.58 is actually me editing an adlib that didn't work - went off key in an irrevocable way. I should drop a revisted guitar line in or something to fill the void.
Gentlemen, thankyou for you assistance. Given the bounced tracks etc I think you've done a fine job pulling this up from being in my reject list to something quite good - for me.
THe next track I post will either be a bit rockier or a fair bit mellower. I haven't decided which to run with yet.
THANK YOU.

Sounds good Ray. The singer has an attractive and memorable voice.

Tim
