I'm playing the with standard UAD-1 Project Pak plugs and I'm having issues with the inserted plugs causing the tracks to slow down relative to the tracks without the UAD plugs.

When I ran the Cakewalk VST wrapper, I checked the 'enable delay compensation' feature. However I've noticed that the list of UAD plugs I select from contains a 'delay compensation' plug. Am I supposed to insert one of these along with every plug I insert?

I'm wondering if the VST wrapper did it's thing properly. I've never had issues with other plugins

Don't worry, I've just RTFM.

Turns out the delay compensator plugin has to be used on tracks the Don't have UAD plugs on them

well that's a great bit of marketing to make you buy more cards and have the UAD plugs on every track :D

I never use that, are you running at high latency?

Yeah I was.

I've just turned it down and it seems to have got better...

If your software has automatic delay compensation, this is not necessary.
