i am my only customer for my recordings. i record my guitar direct from guitar processors and i occasionally mic a speaker cab. i have electronic drums and synths and fruity loops and all the samples available to man. i have three interfaces and i just dont have real pleasure with any of them.
soundscape mixtreme has been the kindest to me, but it is old. i recently purchased a delta 1010 LT with which i found no real pleasure so promptly bought the mbox2 with protools. i dont like ( hate might better describe my enthusiasm for) protools.
so now i'm tryin to decide should i just go back to sonar and mixtreme, revisit the delta 1010 LT, try harder to learn to like the mbox, or buy something altogether different. and yes i know and i've read all the ' its wut works for U ' and all that. but if one of you experts might have a bit of advice for a guy whos tryin to quit spendin money that only guarantees i will spend more money soon, a guy who is NOT a computer geek but a guitarist tryin to record for the sake of having my own personal accompaniment, please share it. i am very close to simply resigning myself to my old fostex 4track cassette recorder.
