But seriously, it's sounding good. I really like the tightness. The bass drum sounds a little hollow (not that I have much room to talk). But it's missing a bit of umph. It's too new hardcore sounding and it needs that old school hit. Try not scooping the EQ as much.
I really like the use of EQ/Distortion on the BG yells of "Left Right Left..." and the actual screams are nice. The main vocal seems a little too dry for my taste. It needs just a hair of 'verb. Maybe a small, dampened room with a little early inflection. Very little tail on it as you want these punchy and in your face.
Nice guitar/drum work. The cymbals are really good for this style. Wet and dirty. I wouldn't approve for pop-rock or anything, but old-school hardcore is where those cymbals are at.
Do you have a bass in the mix? If so, it is very low in volume and even lower in presence. I could care less if I actually hear it well, but in any form of metal, you gotta feel it.
My last critique is the China (i think it's a china, the loud one). I personally hate chinas a whole bunch, but that's me. With noisy music, you need noisy cymbals. But it seems to really pervade to a point that with headphones my right ear hurts. See if you can squelch it just a tad, but that might be hard without killing the overheads. Unfortunately chinas are loud. I try and dampen them a little with a small towel (torn in a 4x4" square and screwed in place by the wingnut on top of the china) if it's in heavy music.
But overall, good mix, good volume for no master, no clipping issues from what i can tell.
Hope that helps bro!
