So I've only listened to the second mix, but it sounds pretty good.

The multi-tracked, chorusy sound on the vocals in the chorus is really good.

The bass sounded like it might have hit a few sour notes in some places. Actually, this is probably the only time you'll hear me say this, but the bass is probably coming through a little too much. It's really sticking out and not settling in with the rest of the instruments.

The guitars sound good though. I think you've got it at least 90% of the way there.

Yeah, that's definitely a first for me.... I'll look at it.

What sticks out at me:

snare - needs a lot of low mids, it almost sounds like a click track

rhythm Gtrs - telephony, sounds high passed at 1k and low passed at 4k

kick - needs some bottom, under 100Hz - it's not bad, just a little


I like the lead vox sound. Not too far off, overall.

Sounds a lot better to me. Most issues have been touched up very well. I have trouble with drums, so I can't offer much there. Very cool collab.

I can't do much with the drum beyond asking BentRabbit to send me the original tracks. He gave me a stereo mix.

Actually, the rhythm guitars are boosted at 1000hz and a little at 300 and 100...

So that must be a tracking issue. My MR-8 died on me so I can't retrack them for at least 6 months because I am going back to sea in 3 days.
