My first major concern is that the guitar is out of tune......a pretty big problem.
Sounds like you've mixed the guitar to the right, drums to the left and bass/vox center.
Maybe that's what you're going for?

Is that a vaccum in the background throughout most of the song? Maybe compuer fans?

There is a hiss like a vac in the background as well as some additional noise.
I'm not so worried about the tuning as the vocals wander a bit too and the two seem to meet somewhere in between for an interesting effect.
There are some clicks and other bits of noise happening as well as some vocal clipping.
The panning's OK by me too.
It's a bit harsh but I think you might have to re record this. The ideas are worth the effort anyway.
Bass needs some 3k boost for definition.

I like how the low vocals modulate from low at the beginning, to a higher range later on. It's something that a lot of current bands do and it's a personal fav of mine style wise.
You need to be careful on which notes you use over the chords you are playing. Some of them are a right on, some are a bit sharp. For example around 4:18 you're a bit sharp on the notes. But around 2:25 to 2:42 that range of notes really fits the song well.
I like where this song goes, just needs a bit of polish on the vocals and it will be good.
The mix is good overall (except maybe the aforementioned hiss). The heavy effect works pretty good for the style...
