In the computer based recording age, I still prefer using an Analog board to "fine tune" my mixes. I've been reading up on some d/a a/d converters and what not, but I do have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to.
I'm currently looking to use an eq in the final stages, this one caught my eye.

It has the digital output, but how does that work if I'm using an analog input? Does this work the same way as say ....

If not, would you suggest running the last analog piece in my chain to the converter then into the eq? Or do I totally not get it?
Or just the converter to my burner? and get a normal eq?
