An introduction and a question?

Hello, so my name is Alien8ed Phreak, I play guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. I do a bit of recording, and decided that I want to take recording to a higher level. So I joined here.:)

A small question:

Music quality: which files have better quality? I think OGG Vorbis' have the best quality, then FLACs are good, then MP3s are okay. But I'm not sure, I really like my audio quality so this is really important to me.:)
 
Best for what purpose? They're all compression formats.

When you're recording, you work with uncompressed audio files, any decision later to use a compression format depends upon what you're doing with it. No reason why you can't offer all of them if you don't want to, but you do your actual work with uncompressed audio.
