here is my problem-in my situation powered monitors would be good 'cause I would not need an amp.
but then I can not use headphones 'cause my soundcard does not have headphone input
but if I get 'passive' monitors,I will need an amp! which is also good because then there is somewhere to use my headphones.If only I bought a s/card with headphone input
what would you do?
remember this is a HOME studio and not elctric ladyland studios.
What about a descent stereo amp at the pawn shop?
