sounds like good advice guys may have to take a few days off work and go up for a weekend!
have been in most of the music stores in Cork (biggest city close to me) and was limited to what i saw..was actually at my chemical romance in Dublin last week but didn't have time to shop the day after the concert as i had to be home for work
to be honest i'm not overly pushed on the loudness of the amp at all its more tone i'm after for the time being can always upgrade to bigger when needs be but at the time being i just want a good amp with good tone to play good music and the music i am into no point in buying an amp that can blow the house down when i won't be playing overly loud (but still loud enough

this is why i like this site everyone is friendly and more than happy to help and give advice i thought i was going to be slated here for asking about amps etc but really appreciate all the help everyone has given me so far
