amount of midi?

i'm very interested in the tascam US-122 and i was wandering what it means when it says it has "16 channels of midi in/out". does that mean i can only record 16 tracks of midi? or just feed it 16 at once?

also would like to know how people feel about tthe US-122 and if there are any pro's and con's about it

That means it will send/receive 16 channels of MIDI simultaneously. Plenty for most.
