Anybody know of a good ambient mic, omnidirectional for recording everything in its vicinity? My house doesn't have windows (it's tropical, and has shutters) so all the jungle noises come in anyway - crickets, birds, frogs, rain (sometimes even the animals themselves come in) - so rather than fight it, I figure I'll go with the flow and work tropic sonics into the mix - hang the mic out the window while I record. Very organic, yes?
