Ive bought plenty of cds and digital downloads from Amazon.
I use the Amazon music app to download them to pc for storage.
They would like me subscribe but Im not forced to yet so I decline the kind offer and carry on.
The app still works and I’m sure they’re glad of the business.
Unlike the Apple equivalent whereby you have to subscribe to even be able to use iTunes.
Thats pants. I won’t be held to ransom by a software manufacturer. Nuff said I quit using it.
Amazon cd Is also handy as sometimes they offer a parallel mp3 download so you can get listening before the cd is delivered.
Hope this helps mate.

Amazon did allow me to play the tracks prior to sale. There was also an option to get the CD and .mp3s as a combo for virtually the same price - that is, buy the CD and get the .mp3 downloads for an additional .67 or something. As I mentioned earlier though, I have no use for the CD so I didn't go that route.
