Hi, first post here, so am in the dumbass section with a likely a dumbass question:
I have a Zoom MRS1044.. its ok, does the job, but its phantom power sux ass.. so I use a behringer board (MX802A) as my pre input for my vocals and guitar.. but I am using the headphone out to get back to the Zoom, is that right, I think I should be using the mains out? and if so, how do I tie the left and right mains into the single quarter inch input for the input section of the MRS 1044?
Basically am looking for some guidance on my setup.. I use a AT3035 Condenser, which can pick up a fart a mile away.. especially when using the behringer phantom power.. that said, have a feeling I am not maximizing the potential of the behringer by using the headphone out as the input into the recording device.. any thoughts fellow wiser than I home recordists?
Regards,
Joy
