Hi,

I'm using Cubase Essential 4. When Alt - Dragging an audio event, the event is duplicated and also shared so when one is edited, the rest are. You can achieve shared midi events but it seems only by using Edit > Repeat and checking the 'Shared Copy' option. How do I have it so that alt dragging creates shared copies with midi events? When I had Cubase SE3 I posted the same query at the Cubase.net forums and one poster suggested using a key command (ie: Keyboard shortcuts) assigned to alt and click. It worked flawlessly and I just can't remember how I did it! Can I do something similar in Cubase 4?

PS: Yes I have posted this query at my thread at the Cubase.net forums but they can be slow in responding!

Solved. In preferences the option to edit the alt key was available under Tool Modifiers
