These kids kick some good ass, man....
Vocals have some pitch problems here and there, but I guess that adds to the character. Uprising sounds better to me, but I find the bass too much in front and it tends to muddy the lower mids a bit, 'cos it's fighting with the guitars. Drums could use a bit more definition.

That is an observation I made as well upon listening to the finished product again the next day. Funny how different stuff sounds after you sleep on it.

I thought the vocals and their pitch was okay for their purpose, yeah. I wasn't about to pitch-correct them or anything. They weren't too gnarly.

And you're not the first person to mention lack of clarity in various aspects of the songs I record. I wonder, is that perhaps because the only thing I use to "master" them are the mastering plugins in Fruity Loops? hahahaha

That, and I am using such a low-budget setup that it's ridiculous. Laptop, headset mic, and whatever computer speakers are available on site as "monitors". But with all things considered, I believe I cut decent demos for these just-starting-out bands...better than any other indie producers around town. And some of those kids have nice gear.
