Ok. Finally. I have something that I can post up here for you people to hear. We worked on this shit for a little while, but it has no vocals cause we never got around to layerin em in.
Lemme tell you some about how this was recorded: Guitar and drums tracked simultaneously, bass is a Roland MC505(which is hella cool by the way). Guitar doesnt sound quite how I'd like it, I know, its not the greatest, but fuck...
We had 1 SM57 (kick) one BG4.1 (snare i think) a bunch of randomly assorted Radio Shack mics that we used to mic just about ever drum and the guitar...
Recorded onto HD through Event Gina and Behringer 1602A mixer.
Some of the effects you hear were added later using Sound Forge.
I know its not the greatest shit, but we had fun recording it, and had fun playing it, and as far as I'm concerned thats the primary objective.
