Already have a mic, need a preamp/interface? Is this worth it?

I got a Sennheiser e838 a few days ago, and I was looking for a used preamp/interface. I found this on craigslist a few minutes away from me.

Well it's an MXL 2001 mic and an M-Audio MobilePre USB for $75. Comes with xlr cords and the whole bunch.

I asked the guy if I could buy the interface for like 35, but he said he wanted to sell the whole thing. Would it be worth offering like 60 bucks for the whole bunch? I don't really know too much about the MXL 2001, I'm really just interested in the interface to use with the Sennheiser I have now.

This is all for recording rap vocals by the way.

I don't know anything about that mic, but I've found its always nice to have an extra mic laying around. If you can afford it, it may pay off some day. Another mic is another option when something about your recording doesn't sound the way you want it to. You could also try selling the extra mic and getting a few bucks down the road.
