That i can just plug in, with no mixer software zero monitoring bla bla and just record? Jesus, i spent so much money i am frustrated right now with this firebox.

Depends on what you want...
Sounds like you went with a computer interface right?
That will take at least SOME type of software to control OR external mixer to control...

All you would need is a set of headphones or speakers to hear and it should give you plenty of power to do (I think) what you want to do...
